About Us
Bonjour. We're Ninon and Thomas.
We are French native speakers, educators, writers, and parents — united by a shared belief that learning a language well is one of the most quietly powerful things a person can do.
In 2023, we founded The Ways 2 Teach, a UK-based educational company dedicated to thoughtful, long-term language learning. The Ways to French grew from that vision — a space where structure, meaning, and real spoken language meet. Today we work with adults and teenagers around the world, and with families raising children in more than one language.
Our Background
Thomas
I am a certified French teacher and native speaker with over fifteen years of experience in education.
I hold university degrees in language, literature, and foreign civilisations, and qualified as a language teacher in 2010. I have taught in international high schools in France and abroad, served as Head of Department, and worked across English-speaking countries before specialising in private one-to-one coaching.
Over the years, I have supported thousands of learners — students, professionals, and adults — across a wide range of goals:
- academic exams (B1, B2, C1) and certifications (DELF, DALF, TEF, TCF)
- university entry and immigration requirements
- professional relocation and career growth
- school and teen exam support (GCSE, A Level, VCE, Junior and Leaving Certificate)
Many of my students stay with me for two years or more, progressing from one level to the next and gaining confidence and depth at every stage. My approach combines structure, clarity, and calm guidance, with a strong focus on real spoken French.
Ninon
I am a French author and language educator. My work is grounded in writing, storytelling, and the slow, patient ways languages take root in real life.
I have spent years home-educating my own multilingual children, and that experience shapes everything I now write and teach. Language, to me, is more than a set of skills — it is a way of belonging, a way of seeing, and a long-term relationship that families build together over years.
I support parents raising their children in more than one language, through books, online courses, original learning content, and one-to-one coaching. I write for parents who take this work seriously and want guidance grounded in real experience rather than quick advice.

We believe languages are not built through shortcuts or mechanical repetition. They grow through:

Thomas brings pedagogical rigour and classroom experience. Ninon brings narrative depth and an educator’s understanding of how meaning shapes memory. Together, we combine structure with imagination, precision with meaning.
